Updated on January 19, 2017

This Privacy Policy has been assembled to better serve those who are concerned with how their Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) is being utilized by Cumberland Group. PII is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a comprehensive understanding of how Cumberland Group collects, protects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from its users or handles your PII.

The Cumberland Group xMatters for Cisco Webex Teams Integration (the “Service”) is a free service for the Cisco Webex Teams Depot. The Service may collect and transmit confidential data depending on how the user uses the Service in relation to Cisco Webex Teams and xMatters. There are safeguards to ensure that the confidential data collected is encrypted in transit, and so it will not be stored anywhere on our servers.

The information that is stored consists of email addresses entered into the Service and a credential token for xMatters. Cumberland Group does not collect or use password for xMatters or Cisco Webex Teams. The xMatters authentication token used by this integration for transferring data to and from xMatters may be de-authorized by the user at any time.

Personal Identification Information

We may collect PII from users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when users visit our site, register on the site, through the use of the Service, other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, a name, email address, or other details to allow the Service to operate. We will collect PII from users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply PII, except that it may prevent them from engaging with the Service.

Information Collected

In general, you will not be able to use the Service without providing an email address and allowing a credential token to be created with xMatters.

The Use of Collected Information

When PII is collected from you we will let you know at the time of collection how we will use the PII. If you register with the Service online, we may use your information to provide you with custom information about Cumberland Group offerings in support of your business needs. Usually, we use the PII that you provide only to respond to inquiries or customer service requests and support needs in an effort to personalize your user experience.

Security of Collected Information

We maintain strict physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized or inappropriate access. We restrict access to information about you to those Cumberland Group workers who need to know the information to respond to your inquiry or request. Your PII will be shared with Cisco Webex Teams and xMatters to the extent required to process requests within the Serivce.
